2 structures of Brass pneumatic push in fittings you have to know

Brass push in fittings get more and more popular in the automation industry. It is more durable and higher pressure resistance than plastic push in fittings.

In the market, there is two structure for brass fittings. Different structure lead to different features. Today let’s help you know this difference.

First structure: the fittings is made of brass body, brass collect and O-ring.

Advantage as below

  1. Simple structure, maintain easily.
  2. High pressure, it can hold copper tube, nylon tube, PU tube. Max pressure can hold 100 bar.

 

Disadvantage

  1. Difficult to make claws.
  2. Easy to hurt tubing surface and make little leakage.

 

Second structure: the fittings is made of brass body, brass collect , O-ring. Back-ring, brass button.

Advantage as below

  1. Easy to push in and get out of tubes.
  2. Perfect match with plastic push in fittings

 

Disadvantage

  1. Low pressure, working below 15 bar
  2. Not easy to maintain.
  3. Not fit for copper tube.
